Last Friday, March 31, 2023, we had a tornado touch down near our house. We were awakened by the emergency alarm on our phones sometime after 11:15pm. The wind was blowing and at one point, the tornado sirens went off and the wind picked up significantly. We went into our pantry as a safe place. Beth said the wind sounded like a freight train. The wind got significantly louder and stronger and scarier. The pillows on our outdoor furniture under our covered porch started moving and a few pieces flew away.

Above is a map of the tornado path. The small arrow is where our house is located.
Our neighbor across the street had a small SUV parked in their driveway and the back window was broken out. We think it might have been from part of the street sign that ended up in their yard. We found one of our pillows behind the neighbors house across the street. A new house two doors down had siding blown off. We didn’t see much damage in our neighborhood.
Below are various pictures that I found.
